State courts in Maryland are mostly closed, until further notice, for most types of hearings. Some hearings, such as bail reviews and protective order cases are going on, but on a limited basis. If you are unsure about the status of a case, please check Casesearch at http://casesearch.courts.state.md.us/ or just send me a text or email. Don’t just show up for court for a case without checking first. You may be wasting your time.
Federal Courts are in a similar situation, with non-emergency cases getting postponed. Updates may be found at the United State’s District Court District of Maryland website at https://www.mdd.uscourts.gov/
